Anita M. (Salisbury) Tourgee

Anita M. Tourgee, 98, of Main Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry, RI. Born on May 15, 1927, in Burrillville, RI, she was the wife of the late George F. Tourgee and the daughter of the late Arthur F. and Delia (Pierce) Salisbury.

Anita was an inspector for Swarovski for many years before retiring in 1980. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with family.

Anita is survived by two sons Paul A. Lowell and Barry L. Lowell, grandchildren Amber Lowell and Jade Lowell and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Zian Salisbury, Frances Thereux, Dolores McLaughlin, Louis Salisbury, Pearl Salisbury and Cleo Salisbury.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Church of the Apostle, 170 Fairview Avenue, Coventry, RI. A calling hour will be held prior from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Gorton - Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the Church of the Apostle Sunday School, 170 Fairview Avenue, Coventry, RI.
