Eunice A. (Reasin) Harvey

Eunice A. Harvey, 93, of Sharpe Street, West Greenwich, RI, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Elderwood Scallop Shell Home, Wakefield, RI. Born on July 5, 1930, in Quebec City, Cananda, she was the wife of Donald J. Harvey. They were married for seventy years. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Elizabeth A. (Greene) Reasin.

Eunice was a Registered Nurse for many years and a charge nurse for the pediatrics unit at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI, before retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Garden Club, Engelwood, FL, also a member and a docent for the Currier Museum of Art, Manchester NH. She enjoyed golfing with her husband Donald and friends. She was also an active member of St. David’s Episcopal Church, Englewood, FL for twenty-four years.

Besides her husband Donald Harvey, she is survived by two sons; Christopher Harvey and his wife Laura Delicata Harvey and David Harvey and his wife Lynn Smiley, two grandchildren; Evan Harvey and his wife Leslie Friedman and Leighann Harvey and a great grandson; Shepard Friedman Harvey. She was predeceased by two brothers; Burt Reasin, Lyle Reasin and a sister; June Marshal.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the Gorton – Menard Funeral Home, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A calling hour will be held prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
